Rebecca Collins – The Climb
They say – “’The Climb’ is the first single from my new record SOLAR. ‘The Climb’ explores the idea of nature abhorring a vacuum, in the context of personal loss. When you find yourself so far out on a limb that you are suddenly without your safety net, all your familiar loves… what comes in to fill the void? There is danger but also breath-taking possibilities in that scenario. I see the song as a reminder to be brave, alert and optimistic in those challenging times. It's sort of a survivalist anthem.”
We say – “Tramore's Rebecca Collins unveils a teaser from her second album in a year, recorded in Copenhagen. With a voice and penchant for drama that happily reminds us of Kate Bush, this track and the suitably dark and faintly creepy video have us very excited for what's to come.”
