Van Morrison has released the second track ‘Got To Go Where The Love Is' from his upcoming his 40th studio album, The Prophet Speaks.

He has teamed up again with Joey DeFrancesco and guitarist Dan Wilson, tenor saxophonist Troy Roberts and Michael Ode on drums to create an upbeat jazz/soul album. The LP features a mix of classic and original tracks. It was a family affair, as he was joined by daughter Shana on vocals. And in true Van Morrison style they finished the album in just a couple of days.

“It was important for me to get back to recording new music as well as doing some of the blues material that has inspired me from the beginning. Writing songs and making music is what I do, and working with great musicians makes it all the more enjoyable,” Morrison said.

It will be his second album release of 2018, with ‘You’re Driving Me Crazy’ released in April this year.

The Prophet Speaks will be released on 7th December via Caroline International.
