Slackers’ Symphony – Outside
Slackers’ Symphony are a 5 piece alternative rock band from Dublin, who released ‘Outside’ as their second single on 8th June 2015.
They Say: "Outside’ is essentially the antithesis of our previous single ‘Episode in Denial’, which was written while on a literary diet of Herman Melville and Shakespeare. In contrast ‘Outside’ is about waiting impatiently in the queue for the only open hatch, in the dole office in Dublin City centre, while mishearing the lyrics to a Doors song. Musically speaking, it was born out of the need to get people dancing when we played our first tour around the country. It's also a laugh for us to play through, as it gets ridiculously intense towards the end. In fact, that's generally how we like our gigs to develop!"
We Say: “This is frenetically rifftastic with a powerful jaunty harmonious melody, that you won’t be able to resist stomping your foot to, whilst grinning from ear to ear.”
