Myles Manley - Pay Me What I’m Worth

He Says: “It's a song that came out in a spurt, in about 20 minutes, last March or so, although the melodic bit at the end had been in my head for about 10 years! It's the kind of song where, although it seems like a pretty simple sentiment and there's not much information coming across, there's a lot in the margins that you can work out for yourself.”

We Say: “Premiered on BBC Radio 1 courtesy of Phil Taggart last week – and picked by Phil on this week’s ATL – this is a wonderfully charming song from the now Dublin based Myles. With lyrics ever so slightly at odds with the mood of the track, and all the better for it, it’s on Myles’ new EP ‘More Songs’ which is out soon.”
