GIRL are an experimental rock duo from Belfast consisting of Phil Brown (Bass/Vocals) and Calum McGeown (Drums / Vocals).
They Say: “This was our first song. Before we wrote it we really had little idea of how GIRL would sound. We just knew that we wanted to play songs with energy - something punky and a bit sweaty! 'Head First' came quickly and felt like the perfect start to our band.”
We Say: “Brutal, superfuzz riffology in the Kurt Cobain tradition. 'Head First' often sounds on the point of collapse but holds it together for three minutes of wonderful petulance. Phil Brown and Calum McGeown from Belfast demonstrate that rumbling duos have a life beyond Royal Blood."
