January – Polar
Friday 20th November 2015
We Say: “With mammoth drums and satisfyingly fuzzed out guitar hooks, this is a slab of emo-tinged alt-indie that packs a hefty punch, both musically and emotionally. Recalling Weezer at their more sombre moments, ‘Polar’ is a track is best enjoyed with the volume high and the lights low.”
They Say: "This is your typical song about regret and relationship, almost about wanting something you know you can't have. We had the chorus melody set in stone from the start, and we thought it suited the track and kept it without lyrics. Our influences come from bands such as Basement, Moose Blood, Turnover and Modern Baseball”.
