Oh Volcano – Don’t Know Love
Oh Volcano are duo Owen Strathern and Enda Strathern, formerly of General Fiasco.
They Say: “The track came together very quick, I think it was written and recorded in the space of a few days. It's 3 chords and almost all of the lyrics came in one take, once I found the melody. We put the beats and everything else into the track real quick - it just happened itself. We took it to Rocky at Start Together Studios and he tidied up the track. Replacing drum sounds and helping with effects and the overall mix.”
We say: “While we recognise that pleading vocalist as Owen from General Fiasco and aren’t surprised by the incredibly catchy nature of this song - that’s where similarities between General Fiasco and Oh Volcano end. This is minimal, guitar-less and weirdly hypnotic. It’s also a reason to get excited by what they might do next...”
