Stendhal Festival has been nominated for the Best Medium Festival and Best Line-Up awards at the annual Irish Festival Awards.
The awards, which are voted for by the public would add to the vast collection the Limavady festival have accumulated, including Best Family Festival, Best Small Festival and Best Line-Up.
Festival Director Ross Parkhill said “It’s no secret that 2019 was our most difficult Stendhal ever,” he said, “the weather made everything that much harder across the board and the fact that our amazing team dealt with everything thrown at them so incredibly well, means that they really do deserve an award of some kind.”
The Irish Festival Awards are now in their thirteenth year and have 5 categories open to public vote, Best Large, Medium and Small Festival, Best Metropolitan Festival and Best Line-Up.
