Pascal - The Good, The Bad & The Forever Sad
Tuesday 5th April 2016
They Say: “I wrote this track last year, and it was part of many songs I had written which would never suit any of the bands that I'm in. It's whatever you want it to be, but for me, it's allowing yourself to admit that it's all too much sometimes. That feeling that you just want to go - you don't know where but you know you want to be alone and just feel everything. It’s hugely influenced by Sparklehorse and The Cure."
We Say: “First played onNew Tune Disco, a shimmering doom-fest, seemingly delivered from a rusty bathysphere at the bottom of the ocean. Danny sings from the pierced fibres of his heart like a true scholar of Mark Linkous."
This is Danny McClelland’s breakaway solo track under the moniker Pascal, and is the teaser for his upcoming EP ‘The Heart of A Mountain Lion’ soon to be released under Further Sky Records.
