More Names for Output Belfast

More industry names have been announced for Output Belfast, which takes place in The Mac, Belfast on Thursday 18th February.



As well as a Keynote address from legendary recording engineer and musician Steve Albini other events include sessions on music composition and placement, music for gaming and a co-writing panel.



The conference sessions will feature Paul Hartnoll, formerly of Orbital, music supervisor Amelia Hartley, composer Nathan McCree – who worked on the Lara Croft Tomb Raider soundtracks – Nadine Shah and Gary Clark who has co-written tracks for McFly, Mark Owen and The Wanted.

Also taking part in the event are blogger and ATL Contributor Niall Byrne, Bry and Mobo-nominated David Lyttle.

A series of pop-up gigs and live events will take place across the city later that night with details to be announced later this month. Registration for Output Belfast is open now.





Annie Nightingale for Women's Work Festival

Also Belfast bound is DJ pioneer Annie Nightingale who is making an exclusive appearance at the Oh Yeah Centre, Belfast on 4th March as part of the inaugural Women’s Work Festival 2016.

The BBC Radio 1 DJ will be interviewed before delivering a DJ set of music that has inspired her during her 50 years of broadcasting.
