Franklyn – We Don’t Want To Live

Friday 6th May, 2016

They Say:
“This is one of the first tracks that we wrote when we started this band. Everything we are writing is happening all at once in the practice room, just four people making noise until it makes sense, to us at least. The track is about people having the life beaten out of them, feeling like there is nothing you can do to change, losing your fight and not even being that bothered about it.”

We Say:
“It’s a case of unfinished business with the guys from General Fiasco - who’s incredible second (and as it turned out final) album ended up scandalously underrated. While different enough to feel very much like the work of a properly new outfit, there’s that same streak of menace and impatience in this indie rock n roll gem.”

As often as possible Across the Line aims to bring you a great new, recent or interesting track each day, Monday to Friday. To get your new music to Across the Line send it via the BBC Introducing Uploader.
