R51 - Heavy Friends

They say: "This song is about coming to the realisation that all your friends are depressed weirdos.
It was written as a few riffs around the end of 2016/start of 2017, when we booked some time to go record us play some tracks live at Start Together studios in Belfast where Jonny is an engineer.
We tracked it in a few takes ourselves along with a bunch of other new songs that will be released soon, which will either be further singles or a new EP!"
We say: "There isn’t a band in the country who do big and uplifting better than R51, who seem incapable of anything other than epic slabs of wailing indie rock n’ roll. This one finds them in understandably triumphant form once again..."
