Two Door Cinema Club’s new video has been removed from the broadcast playlist on MTV. The video, which shows singer Alex Trimble apparently being beheaded before being used as a bowling ball, is for their upcoming single ‘Handshake’.
Speaking to the NME, bassist Kevin Baird said it was, “great”, adding “We’ve never had anything banned before!”
The single will be the Bangor band’s tenth single release and second release from their new album, Beacon. They are the first act to have been announced to play Radio 1’s Big Weeekend.
