Right, so it transpires that Robyn has been in Amsterdam this week so to be perfectly honest we're shocked he even found time to send us a mail for our Gig of the Week!
Belfast's harbinger of doom-laden folk is very much back on the circuit with releases to come on the No Dancing label and a rake of appearances. Shiels takes to the stage at the Pavilion, Belfast alongside Hurdles and Vanilla Gloom and had these words to say for himself..
"'I'll be playing some old and new songs solo to wear them in for the arrival of the next ep Underneath the Night of Stars on...a furrowed brow for a Friday night lies ahead:-)".
