ELLLL - Romance
Wednesday 8th February 2017
They say: "‘Romance’ is a beat-driven collage with a playful and sinister narrative. There’s layered textures and samples creating a dense atmosphere with rolling pulses and subtle effects weaving in and out. It’s the title track to my debut 12” EP ‘ROMANCE’ out now on Art for Blind Records."
We say: "The sheer variety and creativity here is something that must be acknowledged and admired. For just over five minutes ‘Romance’ envelopes you in a sonic chamber that intrigues and impresses at every turn. As the song progresses an ominous feeling hangs in the air, it almost has a haunting quality, but at the same time it’s also a song you could see in the Drive soundtrack. Who doesn’t love a good abrupt ending?"
The track ‘Romance’ is taken from the EP of the same name and is available now via Art for Blind records.
