Fox Colony - Born In Blue

Thursday 6th April, 2017

They say:
"Born In Blue is essentially a song about control and a feeling that your actions are somehow always constricted and dictated by somebody else who has authority, or a perceived higher social rank than you.

It's also about wanting to break out of this feeling and take back control for yourself."

We say: A strong call from Fox Colony, sometime associates of Brand New Friend but now their own, assertive entity. Born In Blue has hints of emo but avoids self-pity, cloaked in the kind of word pictures and nuances that distinguished early REM."

Fox Colony launch their debut EP 'Patterns' on 4th May 2017, in McHugh's Bar, Belfast. Support comes from Life Goals, Brash Isaac and Whale Talk.

As often as possible Across the Line aims to bring you a great new, recent or interesting track each day, Monday to Friday. To get your new music to Across the Line send it via the BBC Introducing Uploader.
