R51 – Absolutely Nothing
They Say: “This started off as Aaron Black doing his thing with synths, and turned into a (sort of dark) full-tilt pop song once the band got their hands on it - and added all the sweet fuzz in the bridge. What this song is about, is well... absolutely nothing at all. We chose it as the opener for our forthcoming EP 'Pillow Talk' due out on 25th March 2015, because it’s got the big hook, but also because we went full guitar cray on the second track 'I Hate That Too', and the contrast will freak lots of people out (we hope).”
We Say: “Fast becoming one of the most reliable bands in the country, R51 are yet to release anything resembling a dud. With 'Absolutely Nothing' they're in adventurous form, slowing down and adding a little intensity.”
