Leah McFall - Wolf Den
Wednesday 26th October, 2016
They say:“Wolf Den is the first of seven singles to be released within this year or so. I wrote this song with producer Pete Boxta in London, once being freed from various contracts, and it was written as a prayer to paint a picture of my journey in the industry so far. It is completely an independent release."
We say: “Independence clearly suits former ‘The Voice' finalist Leah McFall, who’s indulging herself with an adventurous and wonderfully wonky new sound on this - essentially a debut single. That remarkable voice of hers - which gathered so much praise on the aforementioned show - gets it’s finest showcase to date."
Leah McFall lists Rickie Lee Jones, John Martin, Stevie Wonder, Rosie Thomas and Jill Scott among her influences. Keep an eye on her website for news of live dates and forthcoming singles.
