Jealous of the Birds – Goji Berry Sunset
She says: With Goji Berry Sunset I strove for a strong and memorable sense of melody; something saturated in mood to lift the listener into a kind of reverie. To me, the vocals have two distinct voices that echo back and forth. The idea was that lyrically they somehow compliment yet contradict one another. In all honesty though, I really just wanted an excuse to shamelessly whistle in a song."
We say: “Luminous, teenage art-whimsy from Portadown. Details are scarce but Naomi Hamilton appears to be at the centre of things and her home recorded, seven track mini-album ‘Capricorn’ is earning rave comparisons to the likes of Feist. Possibly even a taste of The Moldy Peaches. Most promising.”
