Nine Inch Nails to headline Belsonic

Trent Reznor fronted Nine Inch Nails have announced that they will headline Belsonic at Custom House Square in Belfast on Wednesday August 21st. This will be the band's debut Northern Irish show as well as their first Irish headline show in nearly 20 years. Support will come from local rockers ASIWYFA.

A number of support slots have also been announced for the Belsonic festival. Manchester rock band James will now join the bill for Suede on Saturday August 24th as special guests. James, who reformed in 2007 following a 6 year hiatus, have released three new studio LPs and toured extensively across the globe in that time. 

Michael Kiwanuka and Soak join The Lumineers on August 22nd.

Jake Bugg will be joined by The Courteeners, Nina Nesbitt and Silhouette on August 23rd.

Gojira joins the bill alongside Bullet For My Valentine on August 26th.

A range of acts have played at the festival since it began in 2008 including Noel Gallagher, Florence & The Machine, Elbow, The Specials, Tinie Tempah, The Flaming Lips and Biffy Clyro.
