Brash Isaac feat. Beulah Kim – In Two
Thursday 20th October, 2016
They say:“’In Two’ started life acoustically, before I added in the drumbeat and every kind of percussion that there is. I'm told it's an unforgiving pop track, so I think it's as upbeat as it gets for me, in terms of melody and structure. I brought in my good friend and fellow singer/songwriter Beulah Kim to do some vocals on it, and I'm extremely pleased with the end result.”
We say: “Andrew Cameron continues with the yearning, folksy dimension that was a distinct aspect of The New Ancestors and before that, The 1930s. But he also seems to be weaning himself away from the more obvious traits of the old stomping, campfire shtick. Now there's a flirtation with off-kilter pop music and it becomes Brash Isaac rather well.”
‘In Two’ is the title track from the upcoming Brash Isaac E.P which is released on 31st October. Brash Isaac will be in session for Across the Line on Monday 24th October, 2016
