Hurdles – Dusk & Dawn

Wednesday 13th January 2016

They Say: “After sitting as a rough draft in Ableton for a few months we finally took this tack into the practice studio to flesh it out a bit. As a band we were starting to get to grips with using software to help us create the sound that we had been striving for in the past but weren't always able to achieve. We've always loved bands like Phoenix and Bombay Bicycle Club, so we spent a lot of time working on additional layers to replicate that kind of a vibe. All that extra synth and percussion in recording helps to make everything sound as full as possible. It feels like our most developed track to date and hopefully it's been worth the wait!”

We Say: “Further evidence of the penchant for 80s tinged, synth driven indie-pop, Hurdles are back with a gentle giant of a track, subtle in production and big in sound.”

Dusk & Dawn is the title track from the new Hurdles E.P which is released on 1st February. The single is out now.
