Freak's ‘A Minute More’
They Say – “'A minute more' was written by our guitarist Pete and brought to practice not long after. Once we had heard it, we knew the sentiment behind the song and the direction we wanted to take it. Although it has a more serious set of lyrics compared to previous releases, a minute more is still very much a happy and groovy pop song. Influences include Barry Manilow and Celine Dion.”
We Say – “'Number One' still ranks top five in our favourite new tracks of 2014, so the bar was set pretty high for a follow up. But 'A Minute More' suggests strength and depth for the Strabane pranksters, with it's ludicrously singable hook and cute, if strangely poignant lyrical content. Two from two!”
