Brash Isaac – In The Dark

Wednesday 25th May, 2016

They Say: “'In The Dark' was borne out of my frustrations on the fickleness of the music industry. After playing in bands for many years, touring and releasing records, there began to be points where it would feel redundant and often tiring; trying to maintain being a sustainable musician and keeping people interested in what you do. This song toys with the idea of whether it's time to move on from that, ironically released as my first solo track. Ultimately though, music will always bring me back and I will continue to do it for the love of the art.”

We Say: “We’ve a real knack for this - music that would lazily be classified as ‘singer songwriter’ - and thus has a broad appeal. Just like a handful of Andrew Cameron’s local contemporaries - there’s also a bit of an edge to this and production so huge it makes the track sound built for big things.”

Brash Isaac is the new project from Andrew Cameron. ‘In The Dark’ is available to stream now ahead of a 2-track release on 13th June.
