US rockers Bon Jovi have been announced as the headline act for next year's Slane Castle concert on the 15th of June 2013. The gig will be part of their 'Because We Can' world tour which kicks of in February next year. 

The band will also release their twelfth studio album, What About Now, nest March. Tickets for the concert go on sale next Thursday the 8th of November. Support for the County Meath gig has yet to be announced.
