Snow Patrol singer Gary Lightbody has revealed that he will have a minor role in the upcoming series of the HBO hit television show Game of Thrones.

The fantasty drama series, based on the books by George R R Martin has been filmed largely in Northern Ireland.

The Bangor singer posted a photo of himself online last night dressed in full costume, saying "So I did my scene this morning for Game Of Thrones, I looked like this. Can't say much - just it's no pivotal role. Fun".

ATL sincerely hopes that Dr. Lightbody is House Stark.
