Radar's a reliable enough night at the best of times - fine local acts and it's free in. A great deal for you, the consumer.

This week's Radar looks a little bit special, with the return of the mighty Not Squares. The jury's still out on whether this lot belong at a gig or in a club but...it's kinda irrelevant. If you're watching them, you're having fun, it's that simple. Yeah they've got the rave - proper bowel altering slabs of it - but they've also got, you know, hooks. Choruses and stuff. The best of both worlds.

Ricki from Not Squares told us:

'We've been v busy playing (Japan was amazing!), writing (tunes and Moog!) and recording (days in a basement!) so it will be cool to try out new material on home turf.'
