Electric Picnic have announced fourteen further additional acts for this summer's festival.

The 3 day event, which takes place in Stradbally, Co. Laois from Aug 31-Sept 2nd will now boast the legendary Patti Smith as well as Richard Hawley, SBTRKT,The Maccabees and Michael Kiwanuka. The already revealed lin up includes the Cure,Elbow and Sigur Ros.

Now in its ninth year, the annual music and arts festival have also announced Grandaddy, Crystal Castles, Squarepusher, Gavin Friday, In Tua Nua,Van Dyke Parks, The Jezabels, Dublin Gospel Choir and Eagle and the Worm.
