Gig Round-Up: Spector, The Civil Wars, Dirty Stevie

Spector have announced they will play their debut show in Northern Ireland on May 8th at The Limelight in Belfast. The London quintet were featured on the BBC Sound of 2012 list and are currently on tour with Florence and The Machine.

Nashville's The Civil Wars have revealed they will play Belfast's Mandela Hall on October 28th. The Grammy nominated duo have recieved high profile exposure from both The Jools Holland Show and The David Letterman Show.

The Sham Rocks Festival at The Playhouse in Portrush will take place on the 16th March and will include Dead Till Friday, Making Monsters, Town Cried Wolf and Black Sheriff as well as many more.

In other Portrush Plahouse news, Chocolate Love Factory will headline a show at the North Coast venue on the 9th of March. Support on the night comes from Steering Fail, Stress on the Ruin and Little Big Box.

Dirty Stevie return to the local live circuit with a gig in Auntie Annies on March 24th with support from Die Cherry, Niyah Sky, The Big Grizzly.

Mid Ulster's Pretty Child Backfire will celebrate the launch of their new promo video 'I Wish I Knew You Better' with a gig in Auntie Annies on March 13th. Support on the night comes from Jamie Neish with Robots Can't Dance presiding over the after party.
