Greetings and salutations crusaders of new music, this week we bounce our new band smellometer off special satellites positioned on the earths precipice designed specifically to scope out the most talented and undiscovered bands in Ireland. Here are the three acts we have ripped from the data sent back for your consideration.

Rewind – Final Chance

Fresh faced indie from Antrim. If you like your rock emotional and without facial hair then no need to *fast forward past Rewind.

Time is a Theif – Our Game

Time is a Thief take the aggressive rhythmic style of Nine Inch Nails and throw a cloak of earnest indie rock over it.

Chase Atlantis – You Can’t Catalyze

Chase Atlantis are a four piece from Limavady. Formed earlier this year Chase Atlantis have progressed at lighting speed pace. In its essence Chase Atlantis are a pop band but with the exuberance of youth comes angst and impatience which results in the band fitting somewhere between General Fiasco and Jody Has a Hitlist. They aren’t just yet there yet but undoubtedly it won’t be long until they are. Check out their debut EP here.
