The Limelight and Spring and Airbrake complex is to be bought over in a joint venture from Shine Productions and MCD. CDC Leisure, previous owners of the complex, went into administration in June this year with a winding up petition served against them earlier in 2011.

The venues are regarded as some of the most prestigous in Northern Ireland, hosting established touring acts as well as upcoming local bands. For more details on the takeover check out the BBC NI News website.
