Gig Round-Up: Ash, The Blackout, Duff McKagan's Loaded...
Ash will play a special show at the Academy, Dublin on the 18th of October. The gig will see the Downpatrick natives joined once more by Charlotte Hatherley to perform their 2011 album, Free All Angels. As part of the tour they will also play Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Manchester and London. Closer to home, Ash will play a normal show as part of Arthur's Day celebrations at the Ulster Hall, Belfast on the 22nd of September.
Loaded, the Seattle four piece fronted by Guns 'n Roses/Velvet Revolver’s Duff McKagan, will play the Spring & Airbrake on Wednesday the 2nd of November. The band released their third studio album, The Taking, earlier this year. Support to be confirmed.
The Blackout return to Belfast for a 14+ show at the Mandela Hall on Sunday the 18th of December. The Welsh rockers third studio album, Hope was released in April.
G Sessions present More Than Conquerors, Runaway Go and LoUiSe at the Cellar Bar, Draperstown on the 1st of October.
Morning Claws will play Animal Disco at Aunt Annies, Belfast on Friday 14th of October.
Interrogate, Dead Til Friday, Comply or Die and Bakken will play Aunt Annies, Belfast on October the 12th.
Small Town America will host a listening party for their 'Public Service Broadcast 10' compilation including tracks from Ram's Pocket Radio, Event Horses, General Fiasco, Our Krypton Son and more. The event will take place at the Oh Yeah Centre, Belfast on Culture Night (23rd of September) with live unplugged sets from General Fiasco and Our Krypton Son.
