Main Stage, Saturday 3rd September, 8.15pm

Describe in a Tweet: A performance that never really hits the heights that it promised.

What happened: Lykke Li's graduation to the major slots of festivals might be a little premature on the basis of this performance. It's admittedly brave to play the major singles so early on and at times there's a significant aural intensity with thunderous drumming, but the crowd never feel energised. Lykke's vocals on I Follow Rivers are as good as you would expect and the beginning of the set features several singles: it just never really kicks off. With an entire entourage dressed in dark black and some bizarre onstage antics (seemingly dancing or fighting with a huge piece of cloth attached to the ceiling) we're scratching our heads at times as to quite what's going on in front of us but on the whole we're a little disappointed. Wounded Rhymes is a great album on record but it just doesn't seem to retain that magic live.

Swoon: Finale Get Some ensures that she caps her set on a real high, the offbeat rhythms capturing our imagination.

Funeral: The crowd interaction simply isn't there and a number of the crowd are shifting around awkwardly wondering why they're still here. This performance won't live long in the memory.

EP rating: 6/10
