Music industy group, Fast Forward NI (FFWD NI), will host a free talk on International Music Markets at the Black Box, Belfast on Monday the 5th of September.



One of the focuses of the event will be on Northern Irish acts hoping to play at international showcases and trade fairs like SXSW and MIDEM, with information on the application process, selection, planning & preparation, budgeting, the visa process etc. There will also be advice for bands who want to secure deals with international labels, management companies, agents and media.

Una Johnston - UK & Ireland Representative, SXSW

Javier Lopez - UK Representative, Reed MIDEM

Phil Patterson - UKTI Music Specialist Representatives of PPL and PRS will also attend the event.
