'Arthur's Day - Play on the Day' is a competition to find a fresh new Irish or Northern Irish act to play the main stage at the Guinness Hop Store in Dublin on Arthur's Day (22nd of September). Other acts playing that stage on the day will be the Stereophonics and Yasmin.

The competition, which is run in association with Hot Press and RTE 2FM, will also award the over all winner a recording session with RTE, be featured on a flip cover of a special Hot Press edition, a single release and lots of musical equipment.
