What Happened: Having rapidly moved up the ranks on the basis of reports from their hometown, these Dubliners are expected to impress. They don’t. Their amalgam of syrupy ballads masquerading as soul samples, and poor rhymes can’t be enlivened by the novelty of Irish accents and acoustic guitar in a hip-hop setting. ‘In Too Deep’ is apt, as they’re in over their heads, in need of a lifeline, and are hit by a tsunami as D12 on the main stage drown them out.
Lose Yourself: At least they’re not putting on faux American accents.
Smack That: Just not good enough, but they don’t deserve to have their thunder stolen by the start of an act on the main stage.
