Psychedelic indie pop trio, Foster The People, have pulled out of the first day of Tennants Vital on Tuesday the 23rd of August.



The LA based band announced, ""We are deeply saddened that we have to cancel our appearance at Tennent’s Vital. We have been looking forward to the festival all year long but have been forced to cancel for reasons beyond our control. Please know that we are extremely eager to get back to you guys very soon and are currently working to schedule dates as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to see each of you very soon". There are no reports that the band have cancelled their commitments to the Electric Picnic Festival in early September.



Monaghan singer-songwriter Ryan Sheridan will now play that day in support of The Script, The Wombats, Ellie Goulding and Two Door Cinema Club at Ward Park, Bangor.
