Main Stage, 8:50pm Saturday

What happened?:If it isn’t a rule that a festival must have some ska, then there should be.You may not listen to it any of the other 364 days of the year, but for getting a smile on your face, and a dance in your shoes, there’s nothing finer.Taking to the stage at sun-set, or at least as the area becomes bathed in shadow, there’s a few people waiting upfront for them to begin. These are joined by others as we quickly realise there’s some obligatory partying to be done.‘Dirty Money’ is exactly what we need – shouty, catchy, poppy fun to make us forget it’s suddenly got a little colder.‘Tetrasaurus Rex’ prompts some of the band to ditch their instruments and dive into the crowd while closer ‘Belfast Town’ is the place is musical form – humorous, shouty, sweary, fun, cheeky and a bit riotous.
Shining Light: It has to be ‘Belfast Town’ – the campaign to get this made into an official song starts here.
Meltdown: Ok, who turned off the lights? And the heating? Now we’ve stopped dancing, I’ve just realised it’s got a little nippy.
