Oh Yeah Contenders - Pretty Child Backfire
The Oh Yeah Music Centre released their latest local band compilation back in September. Now the first leg of the Oh Yeah 'Contenders' tour in support of the CD kicks off tomorrow at the Nerve Centre, Derry. North West natives Wonder Villains and Here Comes the Landed Gentry will be joined by A Plastic Rose, Silhouette and Ram's Pocket Radio who all feature on the CD.
The tour is in association with Translink and stops at Derry, Lisburn, Omagh and Draperstown in the coming weeks.
Rigsy rudely interrupted Pretty Child Backfire while they recorded their song, 'A Gentleman's Afternoon' for the CD. Being one of the 'wildcard' selections for the CD, there was an ensuing interrogation from Rigsy which you can watch below:
