Danielle.jpgEach week on the ATL Dance show, Paul Hamill invites an illustrious luminary from the electronica scene to tip us off with their three killer new tunes.

This week's essential tracks are chosen by Danielle Keenan.

ATL Dance is broadcast on BBC Radio Ulster, Friday nights from midnight til 2am folks!

Title: People's Potential

Label:Eglo Records

Why We Need This Record: The A side from the fourth release by Floating Points is ridiculously good, the acid funk production is very simplistic yet works wonders and keeps you coming back for more. The B side is also worth checking out as it has a more jazz house feel to it. Two awesome tracks I highly recommend that you must have.

Title: What Am I Supposed To Do?

Label:Fool's Gold

Why We Need This Record: Treasure Fingers has been hitting us with remix after remix of other artists' tracks, and having waited almost two years for a follow up to Cross The Dance Floor this is (finally) an appetizer for the new album Life Of The Afterparty. This nu disco track is a tasty summer treat which makes really good use of the sample of Jocelyn Brown's Someone Else's Guy. You can pick it up for free on Fool's Gold and here's hoping there's more nu disco from Treasure Fingers to follow soon.

Title: I Think I'm Going To Like It

Label:Dreck Records

Why We Need This Record: Secondo has just dropped a killer EP featuring two tracks of effortless smooth production. The A side has a short vocal sample laced over a disco rhythm with a break down mid-way, a funky house beat is then present which fires the track back up again and should work well on the dance floor. Another two fresh club tracks worth a listen.
