Barry Lynn is currently buried away in Lurgan putting the finishing touches to the third Boxcutter for Planet Mu, we've heard a few bits off it already which are suitably marvellous. Meanwhile Space Dimension Controller is attending this year's Red Bull Music Academy in London as the Northern Ireland representative in between forthcoming releases on Clone Records and Kyle Halls' Wild Oats Recordings and gigs lined up at Twisted Pepper and a Sonar showcase at the Roundhouse in London.
Arveene and Misk continue to remix anything that moves with Evil 9 being the latest act to get the once over for a release on Marine Parade. While their remix of fellow Dubliners Hystereo will appear soon on Bang Gang Records. Elsewhere in Dublin new kid on the block David De Valera delivers another tasty slice of peak time techno for Spacepig Records next month.
In between studying for his Leaving Cert, 16 year old Reuben Keeney from Letterkenny drops a new EP on Steve Mac's SmaCked imprint which has been receiving serious props.
Sian has another collaboration lined-up with Funk D'void for Glasgow's Soma Records, 'A Scream Dressed in Feathers' should appear around April with further tracks appearing on Paul Woolford's Intimacy and of course Sian's own Octopus imprint.
John Digweed's Bedrock label have also just signed a new Irish artist by the name of Ian O'Donovan for the single 'Horizon's which is a Detroit inspired end-of-night anthem and will feature on the label some time later on this year.
