Douglas Henshall in BBC One drama Shetland

Last night (Sunday 6 November) the Scottish BAFTA ceremony was held in Glasgow. BBC programmes fared extremely well being awarded prizes in nine categories.

BBC One's Shetland earned Best Drama Series and its star Douglas Henshall took home the Best Actor in a TV Series Award. Douglas Mackinnon was awarded the Best Director Film/Television for his work on Sherlock: The Abominable Bride.

Dunblane: Our Story

Meanwhile, CBBC's All over the Workplace was named Best Children's Programme, This Farming Life won Best Factual Series and BBC One's Dunblane: Our Story (pictured above) was the Best Single Documentary winner.
