Gentleman Jack to return for a second series, following its hugely successful debut on BBC One

Sally Wainwright’s Gentleman Jack has been recommissioned for a second series. Episode one of the drama, starring Suranne Jones as the remarkable Anne Lister, aired on BBC One on Sunday night (19 May) to widespread acclaim from critics and viewers alike.

The Stephen Poliakoff Collection comes to BBC iPlayer

A selection of multi-award-winning writer and director Stephen Poliakoff’s back catalogue is available on BBC iPlayer from midday on 22 May, ahead of his new semi-autobiographical series, Summer Of Rockets premiering on BBC Two this evening.
