A quick round up of what's new this week on BBC iPlayer, programmes that are about to become unavailable, plus some hidden gems you might have missed.

Elizabeth Is Missing

The captivating feature-length adaptation of Emma Healey's best-selling novel, Elizabeth Is Missing is coming to BBC One. Staring Glenda Jackson, the drama combines a fripping mystery with a tender yet unflinching exploration of one woman's struggle with dementia. Available on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from Sunday 8 December.

Angels Of The North

Brand new BBC Three series, Angels Of The North will give viewers an access all areas pass to Longlox, a real life 'pre-party' hair extensions super salon in Tyneside, documenting the hghs and lows of its stylists. Available on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer from Sunday 8 December.

Question Time Under 30s

A 90-minute Question Time for younger audiences will see a selected audience of under-30s question leaders from each of the main parties. Available on BBC One, BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC iPlayer from Monday 9 December.

The Case Of Sally Challen

New documentary which will explore the inside story of the Sally Challen case, with access to her family and friends in the lead up to her appeal against her conviction of murder for the killing of her husband. Available on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer from Monday 9 December.

The Apprentice

The penultimage stage of the competition has arrived as the final five candidates face a series of tough competitive tasks in the hope of progressing through to the grad final. Available on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from Wednesday 11 December.

Election 2019

The BBC will be hosting full and comprehensive coverage and analysis of the UK General Election results across BBC One, BBC Two and BBC iPlayer on Thursday 12 and Friday 13 December.

Face The Consequences

Hairy Bikers Home For Christmas

Inside The Christmas Factory

Madagascar Escape 2 Africa

Animated Adventure sequel, following the adventures of the animals from a New York zoo who have become trapped oon the African island and try to make their way home. Available on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer from Sunday 8 December.

I Give It A Year

Raucous romantic comedy that starts where most others en. The marriage of mismatched Nat and Josh suffers when each is attracted to someone else. Available on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer from Thursday 12 December.
