Last night the Royal Television Society hosted their Craft and Design Awards 2014-2015, and we’re pleased to report that BBC programmes were awarded in half the categories. The list reads like a reminder of some of our favourite BBC productions of the last year.
Notably BBC Two drama Wolf Hall (pictured) won the Judges prize and RTS said:
“This year's winner of the Judges Award has mesmerised viewers with a potent combination of powerful onscreen performances, masterful direction, finely rendered photography, music, digital effects, and exquisite sound, make-up, costume and production design.”
Production designer Dennis De Groot - Alan Partridge, French and Saunders, Little Britain - took home the Lifetime Achievement Award.
