Your Paintings on The Culture Show

Last week The Culture Show highlighted the success of the ambitious Your Paintings project which shows the entire UK national collection of oil paintings, and details their stories online.

A joint initiative between the BBC, the Public Catalogue Foundation (a registered charity) and thousands of participating collections and museums from across the UK, the Your Paintings website is definitely worth a browse, not least because they need your help – some paintings have missing information, so there’s a function where you can submit any details or leads you might have.
