A quick round up of what's new this week on BBC iPlayer, programmes that are about to become unavailable, plus some hidden gems you might have missed.

Strike: Lethal White

Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott are back, and at odds following Robin’s wedding to Matthew. But there’s no time to mull on the new distance within their professional relationship, as a frightening visit from a potential client puts a new case on the table - and Robin and Strike set to work looking into reports of a strangled child. New series begins Sunday 30 August, and series 1 -3 available on iPlayer now.

Cricket: England V Pakistan T20 International

Live televised cricket returns to the BBC for the first time in a generation, as England and Pakistan provide a fast-paced thrill in their pivotal T20 meeting at Old Trafford. Live on BBC iPlayer Sunday 30 August.

Planet Earth: A Celebration

Sir David Attenborough, Hans Zimmer and Dave unite for a special Natural History event - Planet Earth: A Celebration, bringing together eight of the most extraordinary sequences from Planet Earth II and Blue Planet II with a stunning musical performance to lift the nation’s spirits. Available from Monday 31 August - and both Planet Earth series and both Blue Planet series are on iPlayer now.

Skin

Welcome to the world of Skin, where young people with different skin conditions have the chance to be treated by some of the leading experts in the UK. Available as a box set from Sunday 30 August.

When Bob Marley Came To Britain

The Bridge

A gruesome discovery on the Swedish-Danish border starts an intense, overwhelming investigation for detective Saga Noren. The Scandi noir that redefined TV drama. Series 1-2 available to stream from Saturday 29 August.

Comedy drama. After the sudden death of his wife, grief-stricken journalist George Turner moves his entire family to a remote corner of New Zealand. Series 1-3 boxset available from 20 August.

Sully

Tom Hanks plays Chelsey ‘Sully’ Sullenberger in Clint Estwood’s film about the true story of the pilot’s January 2009 emergency landing of US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson River, in which all 155 passengers and crew survived. Streaming on iPlayer from Saturday 29 August.

The Accountant

Action thriller about accountant Christian Wolff, an accountant with high- functioning autism, who takes on a side gig balancing the books for criminal organisations. Starring Ben Affleck and Anna Kendrick. Streaming on iPlayer from Sunday 30th August.

Molly's Game

Aaron Sorkin’s directorial debut, a true story about Molly Bloom, who becomes the target of an FBI investigation after the underground poker empire she runs for Hollywood celebrities, athletes, business tycoons, and the Russian mob is exposed. Starring Jessica Chastain and Idris Elba. Streaming on iPlayer from Monday 31 August.

Spaceship

When teenager Lucidia fakes her own abduction by aliens, her father begins his search for her among her otherworldy friends, who all believe they've been abducted too. Streaming on iPlayer from Sunday 30 August.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

2011 adaptation of John Le Carre’s famous spy novel. Set at the height of the Cold War years of the mid- 20th Century. George Smiley brought out of retirement charged with rooting out a Soviet mole in MI6. Starring Gary Oldman. Streaming on iPlayer from Friday 4 September.

Looper

Sci-fi thriller. Joe earns his money as a Looper, a hitman whose victims are sent from the future to the present through illegal time travel. Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis. Streaming on iPlayer from Saturday 29 August.

Paddington 2

Family film. Paddington finds the perfect gift for Aunt Lucy's birthday, but when the gift is stolen he becomes the prime suspect, and it is up to the Browns to prove his innocence. Streaming on iPlayer from Monday 31 August.

Apocalypse Now

War epic by Francis Ford Coppola. In 1970, Captain Willard is given a secret mission by the top brass to travel into Cambodia to 'terminate' a decorated American colonel who has gone rogue and is presumed insane. Available until Tuesday 1 September.

The Last Pirates: Britain's Rebel DJs

Rodney P presents the untold story of Britain's second wave of pirate DJs who played a cat and mouse game with the law to create a platform for black music in the 1980s. Available until Sunday 30 August.

Poltergeist

Chilling horror. The Freelings are like any other Californian suburban family. But one night their youngest, 10-year-old Carol Ann, hears a voice from inside the television set. At first there is an invasion of friendly spirits, but then a force of evil threatens to destroy them. Available until Monday 31 August.

Ibiza: The Silent Movie

Julien Temple and Fatboy Slim's non-stop musical time-travelling trip through the history of dance music’s most influential, charismatic and spiritual island in the Mediterranean. Available until Wednesday 2 September.
