BBC wins awards at News and Documentary Emmys

The BBC picked up two awards at the News and Documentary Emmys last night.
The award for Outstanding Continuing Coverage of a News Story in a Regularly Scheduled Newscast went to BBC World News America’s Inside Syria’s Deadly Conflict. Jeremy Bowen, Lyse Doucet, Ian Pannell, and Paul Wood were correspondents on the output. Executive producers were Paul Danahar, Kate Farrell and Andrew Roy. The producers were Feras Ahmed, Mughira Al Sharif, Lana Antaki, Kate Benyon-Tinker, Richard Colebourn, Darren Conway, Riam Dalati, Phil Goodwin, Sara Halfpenny, Ghassan Ibraheem, Fred Scott, Kevin Sissons, Kevin Sweeney, Rachel Thompson, and Lina Sinjab.
Outstanding Feature Story in a Regularly Scheduled Newscast, was awarded to BBC World News America’s Suffering in the Central African Republic, a report exec’d by Kate Farrell and Andrew Roy, produced Christian Dembe Kette, William Edmundson, Kate Forbes, Fred Scott, Toby Woodbridge. The correspondent was Andrew Harding.
