Steve Bugeja wins BBC Radio New Comedy Award 2013

The final of the BBC Radio New Comedy Award was held at The Comedy Store in London last night (9 December) and Steve Bugeja (pictured) was chosen by Radio 2 listeners to take this year’s title.
Each finalist performed a seven-minute set and then listeners had an hour to vote for their favourite.
The BBC Radio New Comedy Award is a nationwide talent search to find the best in new stand-up comedy talent. This year’s competition started with an open call, which lead to over 600 entries.
