Last night (11 March) the annual TRIC Awards (Television and Radio Industries Club) were held at a ceremony in London. BBC programmes took home a number of awards and in the presenter categories some BBC women were in the spotlight.
Carol Kirkwood
Carol Kirkwood was named Weather Presenter of the Year, Gabby Logan Best Sports Presenter and Susanna Reid took home the News Presenter award. Strictly Come Dancing was awarded in the Reality Programme category, Doctor Who won the HD Drama programme of the year accolade and The Chris Evans Breakfast Show was named Best Digital Radio Programme.
